Our search for a stallion prospect began with researching bloodlines that have proven themselves on the barrel circuits. This lead to the purchase of Ante Up Guy (aka Red) as a weanling in 2004. The phenomenal success of his sire, Frenchman's Guy , goes without saying.

Red's dam is an own daughter of Marthas Six Moons, leading barrel horse sire and number one Top Maternal Grandsire of barrel horses - all ages/all divisions (2008 stats), with barrel progeny earnings of over $1 million. Take a look at the success of Lindsay Sears and "Martha" (dam is a full sister to MSM) to appreciate the influence of MSM on the barrel horse. Talk about proven genetics! His bottom side also brings the great Easily Smashed, and is loaded with speed - AAA and AAAT through-out, and the mares are all AAA and AAAT producers! It shows, because this "guy" can fly!

Red is currently in barrel training and also enjoys tracking cattle.
